To advance racial and geographic equity within the worker justice ecosystem through support for leaders in under-resourced regions of California, through an entity such as The LeadersTrust.

San Diego Workforce Partnership – 2021

To support the CyberHire San Diego initiative, a pipeline that aims to increase the number of unemployed/underemployed and low-wage workers in quality cybersecurity careers.

PowerSwitch Action – 2021

To expand engagement of low-income workers in regions throughout California, while strengthening collaboration and the work of member organizations to improve workplace standards and access to quality jobs.

Social Impact Fund – 2021

To research and elevate strategies that have been successful nationally and in California at increasing participation of minority business enterprises in large infrastructure projects, through an entity such as the HUB Initiative.

University of California, Los Angeles – 2020

To support the Center for the Advancement of Racial Equity at Work to advance equity and support expanded organizing of Black workers in the Southern California region.

California Community Foundation – 2020

To launch a pooled fund to support local planning and housing solutions, and promote equitable growth strategies across the Southern California region.

To support the pilot of the Expanding Pathways to Employment for Promotores project that aims to formalize and strengthen a workforce development model for Promotores and community health workers in California.
