Increasing influence of low-income Californians in political and economic systems

The cost of living in California is growing faster than wages, and income is no longer enough to guarantee economic security. This makes it hard for workers to pay their rent, pay their bills, and have adequate food, healthcare, and childcare for their families. To ensure that our economy works for all Californians, we must strengthen the ability of low-income workers to influence the decisions and policies that impact their lives.
