Elizabeth Rocha

Impact Assessment and Learning Officer

Elizabeth joined the James Irvine Foundation in February 2022 as part of the Impact Assessment and Learning team. Prior to Irvine, Elizabeth was part of the Learning and Evaluation team at The California Endowment, where she supported the evaluation of investments across various sectors to inform evolving strategies.

She has experience evaluating community health programs at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health in the Division of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention. Previously at UCSF, she coordinated national and statewide leadership training programs for health care professionals from hospitals and federally qualified health centers.

Elizabeth is a Los Angeles native and was raised in the Harbor Area neighborhood of Wilmington. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Health, with a minor in Global Poverty and Practice, from UC Berkeley and holds a Master of Public Health from UCLA.
