To provide rapid response trainings to address the COVID-19 pandemic, expand access to healthcare career pathway programs in the Central Valley and Inland Empire, and refine online training capabilities.

Worker Education & Resource Center – 2020

To establish a High Road Training Partnership for public sector careers working for the State of California through the Pathways to State Service (PASS) initiative.

Hartnell College Foundation – 2020

To develop apprenticeship programs and a college-to-career system geared towards supporting students to find jobs that provide family sustaining wages in the Salinas Valley.

Third Sector Capital Partners Inc. – 2020

To expand the scope of the co-design group focused on accelerating workforce outcomes by partnering with Better Careers grantees and public agencies on improvements to California’s public workforce funding system.

PolicyLink – 2019

To support the development and advancement of a vision and policy agenda defining the future of work in California for low-income workers and people of color.

East Bay Community Foundation – 2019

To support and enhance the long-term vitality of community organizations that create equitable opportunities and pathways for those who face the largest barriers to middle-wage jobs and enhance their sustainability, impact, and sense of community.

South Valley Industrial Collaborative – 2019

To develop a plan to grow the local region’s labor pool for higher paying industrial occupations that result in stable careers with living wages in the San Joaquin Valley.
