Robert E. Denham Partner, Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP Robert E. Denham was elected to the board in December 2011 and began serving as Vice Chair in January 2017. Bob is a partner in the law firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, and is vice chair of the board of Good Samaritan Hospital of Los Angeles and a member of the board of MDRC. He rejoined Munger, Tolles & Olson as a partner in 1998 after serving as chairman and CEO of Salomon Inc., and his practice emphasizes advising clients on strategic and financial issues. Prior to joining Salomon, Bob had been at Munger, Tolles & Olson for 20 years, including five years as managing partner. Bob is a member of the California, American, and Los Angeles County Bar associations. He is a member of the board of directors of Chevron Corporation, The New York Times Company, Fomento Economico Mexicano, S.A. de CV (FEMSA), and Oaktree Capital Group LLC. Robert is a public member of the Professional Ethics Executive Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and was formerly chair of the board of directors of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the Russell Sage Foundation. Robert also served as a presidential appointee to the APEC Business Advisory Council and the Bipartisan Commission on Entitlement and Tax Reform.
