Ensuring the rights and dignity of all Californians, wherever they came from or however they arrived
Immigrant communities across California face serious challenges because of the federal government’s shift in policies, practice, and rhetoric in recent years. Immigrants without documents are also particularly vulnerable, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Protecting and empowering California’s immigrant communities is in the best interest of the state. We support grassroot and statewide efforts that inform, engage, and protect immigrant families, and we support opportunities that build the evidence of and appreciation for the critical role immigrants play in California’s success.
