Jessica Bazán joined the Irvine Foundation as a Communications Associate in June 2018. Previously, she was a Program Coordinator and Communications Liaison at the Youth Leadership Institute, where she applied her passion for positive social change and communications.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Due to her experiences as an immigrant and a member of a working family struggling with poverty, she pursued a major in Political Economy with a concentration in social and economic inequality in the United States.
During college, Jessica worked in communications at the UC Berkeley College of Letters and Science, and completed internships at Horizon Media Incorporated and Unilever.
