Overview |
The mission of The James Irvine Foundation is to expand opportunity for the people of California to participate in a vibrant, successful, and inclusive society. The Foundation's three core grantmaking programs — Arts, California Perspectives, and Youth — bring this mission to life in an integrated way that builds upon Irvine's unique history and competencies as a statewide funder. Our 2004 annual report outlines the core purpose of each of our grantmaking programs and highlights a sampling of the people we are privileged to support and the places in California where we do our work.
