Foster an environment in which arts and culture flourish in California through support to the state's largest premier cultural institutions and to leading arts organizations in the nonmetropolitan areas of California.

Through this priority, Irvine seeks to facilitate the creation and presentation of high-quality artistic work and to foster an environment in which arts and culture flourish throughout the state. We will support a broad range of organizations that play a leadership role in the arts in California, ranging from the state's largest premier cultural institutions to leading arts organizations in various regions throughout the state. Accordingly, the Foundation has established two program initiatives within our grantmaking priority related to Arts Leadership:
