was appointed Manager, Impact Assessment and Learning in December 2012 and has been with the Foundation since 2007. Kevin works with program teams to assess our work, refine strategies and demonstrate the impact of promising approaches. He also works with the Irvine Communications team to communicate findings and leads the annual foundation-wide assessments. Prior to joining Irvine, Kevin conducted research on the nonprofit sector as Research Associate at the Institute for Nonprofit Organization Management at the University of San Francisco. Kevin is a native Californian and earned his undergraduate degree from University of California at Davis and a doctoral degree from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY). His dissertation analyzed the location of nonprofit social service organizations relative to social needs and financial resources across two regions of Northern California. He serves on the advisory board of the Center for Effective Philanthropy.
